NCPA Leagues

NCPA Leagues are intramural pickleball leagues organized by each university's club. No intercollegiate competition required—just your club members playing against each other for prize money.

Concept & Purpose

Why Run a League?

  • Adds Structure Beyond Open Play: Provides every player at your university — from beginner to advanced — the chance to compete in an organized league at their university.
  • Generate Money: Clubs keep a chunk of registration fees to support their program.
  • Exclusive Perks: Participants gain access to NCPA national ratings, discounted gear, and opportunities to compete for cash and product prizes at every skill level.

What Are NCPA Leagues?

  • Head-to-Head Competition: Members compete against each other for cash prizes and product awards.
  • Blended Format: Includes a mix of Division 2-style brackets and Conference-style scheduled matchups, giving players both bracketed tournaments and regular league play.
  • Skill-Level Friendly: Leagues are designed so all members, regardless of experience, have a chance to compete, improve, and earn rewards.

Who Runs the League?

League Coordinator

  • Oversees registration and weekly league play
  • Can be club president, officer, or interested member
  • Earns 10% of registration fees for the club

Example: 3 leagues × 50 players × $75 × 2 seasons = $2,250/year

And that's just for a single division (e.g. Men's Doubles) with beginner, intermediate, and advanced brackets.
